National Poetry Month

National Poetry Month began in the US in 1996, spearheaded by the Academy of American Poets on the steps of a post office in New York City.  The month is celebrated in many countries around the world. Canada is no exception. Check out the site below for info about a network of poetry organizations and resources available for your classroom.
